Going Anamorphic - What is the difference? Some before and after shots using the Kowa and Isco 2x Anamorphic adapters on a Canon 5D Mark II. The Hollywoodification is instant in some shots and not so obvious in others. The oval bokeh is what is the big characteristic.

Convergence in XDCAM-EX Short film by Martin Scanlan shot on the Sony PMW-F3. Interesting how good 4:2:0 in 8-bit looks. You can even see some improvements in the final graded HDCAM-SR version here http://vimeo.com/16898584. Apparently the white balance didn’t work properly on the test camera so presets was used instead.
